If you're a chaat aficionado, then Eat Street at necklace road is the place to be. Their chola bhatura is exquisite and is quite authentic.

I've tried chola bhatura in north India as well, where the item originated and where it is so widely eaten. And I can say the version here quite confirms to the original taste.

Why is this so special or important? Because there are many chaat outlet wannabes who claim to offer authentic chaat but miss the authentic taste by a mile.

So the next time you're visiting Eat Street, make sure you check out the chaat counter.

And no... no one's paying me to write this

We've been trying to make the most of this summer by going swimming at leaset once a week. The best place to go swimming right now is Taramati Baradari at Gandipet. The charge is 100 rupees for an hour (they're lenient with the timing).

This may seem expensive to some but this suits us perfectly. How? Well.. I only get a chance to go swimming once a week. So 4 weeks a month means I pay 400 rupees. However, other options like Gachibowli stadium charge you 500 rupees a month. So if you can go there 6 times or more, then the Gachibowli option is better.

Too confusing? Read it again.

:-)

Anyhow, its Saturday today and I'm looking forward to it again. Just make sure you call them before going because the pool was closed last week because of some festival. Also, if they have parties, the pool can get really crowded, which means its no fun to swim.

Unless swimming in crowded pools it your thing, I strongly recommend that you don't go.

Mediterranean Cuisine is having an excellent lunch buffet.

Timings are from 12:00 to 5:00pm

The range is excellent from Indian food like Biryani and all to even Turkish items like 'Pide' which seemed like a Pizza to me. But it tasted good none the less.

There's vegetarian and non-vegetarian options to choose from plus 2-3 options of dessert.

At 200 bucks per head, it's a steal. Go make the most of it before it ends, which I don't know is when.

The address is:

Not sure about the tele-numbers because I've never called them myself. So don't go complaining on me saying I never told you

A couple of weeks back I went to Bowl O' China. They had this amazing buffet going.

I didn't plan on trying out the buffet. I was just thinking I'd go for a regular meal. But the guy at the counter asked us if we wanted to try the buffet and we said yes. And I'm glad we did.

The food was amazing.

3 chicken dishes
3-4 vegetarian dishes
Soup
2 salads
Ginger fried rice
Ice cream
Soda

Let me think.. am I missing something? No, that's about it

:-)

All of this for a killer 99 rupees.... well 106 after taxes to be exact.

But I think its a steal and did I mention the food was awesome. I wonder if they have one going on today. I think I'll try it again
